Who we are
This website, edisonhillsearch.com, is operated by EHS Partners Limited, trading as Edison Hill Search (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are a retained executive search firm with offices in New York, London, San Francisco. For anything in this policy, contact Warren Beazley at warren@edisonhillsearch.com.
What we collect, and why
We only collect personal information you choose to give us:
- Job Survey report request — your name and work email, so we can prepare and send your report.
- CTO Phase Assessment (company edition) — your name, work email, company and your answers, so we can send the brief for your phase and follow up once about it. Your Phase result is shown without giving us any details.
- CTO Phase Assessment (candidate edition) — your name, email, LinkedIn URL and your answers, so we can add you to our private candidate network and contact you when a search matches your phase. You can leave the network at any time by emailing us.
- Booking a call — handled by Calendly, under its own privacy policy.
- Job applications — the Jobs page embeds our career portal (i-Search / career-portal.cloud). Applications are processed there under our recruitment privacy terms and the portal's own policy.
- Bad Hire Calculator — runs on a third-party service (usgoodhire.agency) under its own policy.
We use this information only for the purpose you gave it, on the basis of your request (and, for the candidate network, our legitimate interest in matching leaders to searches). We do not sell personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.
How your details reach us
This website stores nothing itself. Forms are relayed by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service, straight to our mailbox (hosted by Microsoft 365). We keep your details for as long as needed to deal with your request — and, for the candidate network, until you ask to be removed.
Hosting and technical data
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, it records standard technical information when a page is served (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability, retained briefly. Page fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own and does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded third-party tools (the career portal and the Bad Hire Calculator) may set their own cookies, governed by their policies.
Links to other sites
We link to third-party sites and services we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own — please review them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Email warren@edisonhillsearch.com. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
Children
This site is for businesses and senior professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date.
